Responsible for all of Husky Energy's integrated Downstream including pipelines, upgrading, refining, transportation, marketing and retail operations.
Career History and Key Accomplishments
Jeffrey Rinker joined Husky Energy in February 2017, and was appointed Senior Vice President, Downstream in May 2018. He is responsible for Husky's integrated downstream business, including Refining, Upgrading, Supply & Trading, Logistics and Marketing.
Formerly, he was a senior vice president for 11 years with the Austrian integrated oil company OMV, including assignments as director of Romanian Refining & Petrochemicals, manager of Downstream Value Chain, and head of Mergers & Acquisitions. He also held several board positions in the industry, including Director of PARCO, the largest oil refinery in Pakistan.
Previously, Mr. Rinker worked at BP for 16 years in various technical and management roles, including Optimization Manager for the Toledo, Ohio refinery, of which Husky now owns half.
Mr. Rinker graduated as a Chemical Engineer with honours from Carnegie Mellon University in 1989.
