Jeffrey E. Rinker
Executive Vice President, Downstream & Midstream
Responsible for leadership of Husky's Downstream and Midstream businesses, including refining, upgrading, supply and trading and marketing.
Career History and Key Accomplishments
Mr. Rinker was appointed Executive Vice President, Downstream & Midstream in 2020. He joined Husky in February 2017 as Vice President, Downstream Value Chain with responsibility for crude oil and gas marketing, hydrocarbon supply chain planning and optimization, refinery feedstock supply, and refined product sales.
He came to Husky from the Austrian integrated oil company OMV, where he was a Senior Vice President for 11 years, including assignments as director of Romanian Refining & Petrochemicals, manager of Integrated Value Chain and the head of M&A.
Prior to that, he worked at BP for 16 years in various technical and management roles, including as the Optimization Manager for the Toledo refinery, now a joint-venture partnership between Husky and BP.
He has also held several board positions in the industry, including as a Director of PARCO, the largest oil refinery in Pakistan.
Mr. Rinker graduated as a Chemical Engineer with honors from Carnegie Mellon University in 1989.
Mr. Rinker and his wife Andrea enjoy hiking in the mountains and traveling together.
