Flowline Connector
A remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) survey has shown the release came from this subsea flowline connection. An investigation into the cause of this incident is underway.
The chain in the photo is in the correct location and is part of the flowline restraint system. It is connected to a pile located outside the South White Rose Extension drill centre, approximately 5.5km from the SeaRose FPSO.
Released Murres
Two thick billed murres were successfully released back into the wild on December 3 after spending time at the seabird rehabilitation centre.
